Sources
of Financing
Most franchises require a substantial initial investment.
In addition to the obvious front-end cash requirements, a
prospective franchisee should also plan on having adequate
cash reserves on hand during the first several months of operation
before the business begins to generate a profit. While some
franchisors are able to offer direct financing, most franchisees
will have to find supplemental funding from third-party sources.
The following companies specialize in providing funding for
prospective franchisees and are especially interested in working
with military veterans who have all the other necessary “non-financial”
prerequisites to become a franchisee.
